A perfect warm, sunny day with a row of beach umbrellas laid out in a line so that the beach-goers could gaze out to sea in the shade. The millions of footprints in the foreground testify to the crowds that had been there the day before but on this day the crowd was light and these few lucky souls pretty much had the beach to themselves.
